The Nantucket Porch
Upholstered Entryway Storage Bench with Rustic Oak Base & Basket Shelf
Editor's Note
"A rustic oak entryway bench with an ivory linen cushioned seat and two open shelves ready for a row of seagrass baskets — the piece I'd anchor a shingled mudroom with, hung above with a peg rail and a wide-brim straw hat."

Coastal Fisherman Bedroom
Cable-knit textures, sailboats and deep navy stripes bring a captain’s-cottage warmth to this harbor-view bedroom. A rope mirror, lantern glow, white hydrangeas and a monkey-fist knot finish the look. Shop the pieces below to recreate the room: these are coordinating catalog selections, not verified exact replicas. The bedding has a finer stripe, the bed and bedside table differ in finish, the bench is upholstered, the bowl is woven rather than wood, and the lantern is electric. Each shopping photo shows the actual item; the pictured ivory cable-knit pillows and plain cream vase are not currently sourced, so we offer textured ivory pillows and a floral ceramic vase instead.

Room Inspiration № 19
Coastal Entryway with Nautical Rope Mirror & Whale Peg Rail
A sun-washed shingle-cottage entry opening straight onto a hydrangea-lined harbor path — a Gold Marble-Top X-Frame Console anchors one wall under a hand-twisted navy-and-ivory Nautical Round Rope Wall Mirror, styled with a Blue & White Chinoiserie Porcelain Table Lamp, a rope basket of white hydrangeas, a hand-carved East Coast wood sign, and the ACK Scallop Heart. Opposite, an Upholstered Entryway Storage Bench with rustic oak base sits below a row of Whale Wooden Wall Hooks and an oversized Sorbus Gold Wall Clock, ready to catch the Nantucket Stars & Stripes Mini Boat Tote, a straw hat, and a blue-hydrangea pillow — all floating over a Safavieh Natural Fiber Sisal Rug in marble beige.
