"A finished needlepoint of a whole island afternoon — the Nantucket Breeze inn with its blue shutters, a lobster cart pulled by a bay horse, a lighthouse on the far bluff and catboats out on the water — worked in wool and set in a warm oak frame. The folk-art piece I'd hang in a back hall or up a stair wall where you notice something new every time you pass it."
